Some people are visiting Switzerland I order to visit its charming ancient castles that are spread all over the country; the others go there to enjoy perfect ski-resorts or to look at the big number of celebrities. There is a great number of various resorts that may be divided into three types: health-improving (some of them are placed straight on the Lake of Geneva), ski-resorts, including Jungfrau, Grindelwald and Engelberg, and just resorts by the lakes.

All the main tourist destinations in Switzerland are represented by its capital, the city of Bern, and the other cities, including Luzern, Montreux, Lausanne and Thun, but besides that, there is an incredible number of beautiful sightseeings that is spread all over the country.

The main things everyone should do while staying in Switzerland are: visiting the Roman settlement Augusta Raurica, take part in the unusual golf and cricket competitions that are held on the ice of the lake in St. Moritz and exploring the Blue Ice Grotto. Oh, and don’t forget about visiting the local shops and markets for buying the world-wine known Swiss souvenirs: hand watch, cheese, chocolate and penknives.
